Westinghouse Digital HD-Grade 17-Inch Widescreen Monitor
Westinghouse Digital Electronics, a company I have not heard anything about before, has released a 17-inch widescreen LCD monitor, and is recommending it as an essential back-to-school product for students of all ages. (of course they are, it is not like they’d recommend another companies)
Featuring a clean white chassis with silver trim and some decent technical specs, the monitor seems very well rounded.
Offering one DVI input, 1280×768 WXGA resolution, 15:9 aspect ratio, 400-cd/m2 maximum brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, response time of 15 milliseconds and a 170-degree viewing angle, the monitor is currently available for an estimated $229 USD.
With a price and feature set like that, I hope to see more offerings from Westinghouse Digital Electronics. If anyone has any personal experience with this company, please let me know, as I would be interested to hear how their product compares to other major LCD makers.
